रिषद प्रेमजी नास्कॉम (NASSCOM) के नए चेयरमैन नियुक्त

विप्रो लिमिटेड के बोर्ड के सदस्य रिषद प्रेमजी को 2018-19 के लिए नेशनल एसोसिएशन ऑफ सॉफ्टवेयर एंड सर्विसेज कंपनीज (नास्कॉम) के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है. प्रेमजी नास्कॉम की कार्यकारी परिषद के सदस्य रहे हैं और वे 2017 के उपाध्यक्ष रहे हैं. 

वह रमन रॉय, अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक का स्थान लेंगे जिन्होंने वर्ष 2017-18 के लिए नास्कॉम के अध्यक्ष के रूप में सेवा दी है. नास्कॉम ने केशव मुरुगेश को 2018-19 के उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया है. 

बान की मून चुने गये बीएफए चेयरमैन

पूर्व संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव बान की मून 'एशिया के लिए बोओ फोरम' (बीएफए) के अध्यक्ष चुने गए हैं. उन्होंने पूर्व जापानी प्रधान मंत्री यासुओ फुकुडा का स्थान लिया है. 

2001 में स्थापित, बीएफए एक गैर-सरकारी और गैर-लाभकारी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठन है जो क्षेत्रीय आर्थिक एकीकरण को बढ़ावा देने और एशियाई देशों को उनके विकास लक्ष्यों के करीब लाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है. चीनी उप विदेश मंत्री ली बाओदोंग को बीएफए के महा सचिव के तौर पर नियुक्त किया गया था.

राष्ट्रमंडल खेल 2018 : अंकुर मित्तल ने जीता कांस्य पदक

राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों की पुरुष शूटिंग के डबल ट्रेप इवेंट में भारत के अंकुर मित्तल ने कांस्य पदक जीता है.

इससे पहले अंकुर मित्तल 2017 में मॉस्को में हुई वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप में रजत पदक जीत चुके हैं.

राष्ट्रमंडल खेल 2018 : ओम प्रकाश मिठरवाल ने जीता कांस्य पदक

भारतीय शूटर ओम प्रकाश मिथरवाल ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया, गोल्ड कोस्ट में 21वें राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों में 50 मी पिस्टल स्पर्धा में कांस्य पदक जीता है. इसी समारोह में, जितू राय को 8वें स्थान पर निराशा हुई है.

दो मिनट पहले 10मी एयर पिस्टल के आयोजन में कांस्य पदक वाले युवा मिथरवाल ने बेलमंट शूटिंग सेंटर में आठ-पुरुष फाइनल में तीसरे स्थान पर 201.1 का स्कोर बनाया. मेजबान राष्ट्र ऑस्ट्रेलिया के डेनियल रिपचोलि ने समारोह में 227.2 रिकार्ड के साथ स्वर्ण पदक जीता जबकि बांग्लादेश के शकील अहमद ने रजत जीता. 

कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स 2018 : श्रेयसी ने दिलाया 12वां गोल्ड

भारतीय शूटर श्रेयसी सिंह ने महिलाओं के डबल ट्रैप इवेंट में गोल्ड मेडल जीत लिया है. उन्होंने शूटआउट में ऑस्ट्रेलिया की इमा कॉक्स को हराया.
दिल्ली के हंसराज कॉलेज में पढ़ीं श्रेयसी सिंह नेशनल राइफ़ल एसोसिएशन के प्रमुख रहे और बिहार से आने वाले नेता दिग्विजय सिंह के बेटी हैं.
ये गोल्ड कोस्ट में भारत का 12वां गोल्ड मेडल है.
